FASHION RADICALS
Agybo is a Colombian clothing brand with the purpose of spreading a lifestyle and message through its brand. They have just announced their latest drop: School Of Love. Agybo stands for "Love, Gratitude, and Good Vibes," and as the name suggests, it is a brand built around these values. Founded in 2021, the brand's main focus is on clothing, and while the pieces come in various styles and some collections come with surprises, the recurring categories are athleisure, loungewear, and streetwear.
Behind the brand are three public figures. Two of them are renowned Colombian singers, Juanes and Fonseca, who have been in the music industry for over 20 years, have Grammy-winning hits, and continue to tour with sold-out shows worldwide. Additionally, Karen Martínez, a Colombian actress, television presenter, yogi, and fashion icon, is also behind the brand.
The past year has been filled with achievements for Agybo. Their first collection, Explora Tu Casa, reached a global audience with worldwide sales. Following the success of the first collection, they launched their Athleisure collection in collaboration with Karen Martínez, ASTRAL, with an exclusive launch event in Wynwood, Miami. This was another successful launch, followed by two restocks due to high demand.
How does Agybo work?
While one collection is being launched, four more are in the works. The magic of Agybo lies in the minds behind the brand, who have the ability to produce creative and original directions time and time again. Through processes involving long months of planning, the creative geniuses behind each collection continue to excel with unique inspiration, design, and results.
Each collection is distinct from the next, and their latest drop is no exception.
School of Love is a drop inspired by high school romances, classrooms, hallways, lockers, and sports fields. It evokes nostalgia for uniforms, school mascots, and notes on notebooks and chalkboards.
“We want this collection to take you back in time. We were inspired by The Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, and songs like Don’t Go Breaking My Heart,” said Martín Fonseca, director of Agybo. “We understand the purpose of our brand and want to continue making an impact while maintaining our DNA and staying true to the brand's values and message.”
Key Pieces in the Capsule
The drop contains six pieces: a hoodie, a sweater, two t-shirts, a baseball cap, and a tote bag. Each piece has a unique handmade design, representing the clothes you would wear if you went to the School of Love.
The drop will be released on March 9 and will be available through www.agybo.com.
In addition to selling independently on their website and in some multi-brand stores, they offer free worldwide shipping to make it easier to reach any customer at any time.
Conscious Fashion
Agybo also works with O2 Reserve, a company dedicated to the management, conservation, and protection of the tropical rainforest, initially located in the Colombian Magdalena region. With this partnership, they donate 1m² of tropical rainforest for every product sold. By doing so, they ensure that you also become part of this significant impact, with each purchase contributing to the conservation of a natural ecosystem in Colombia.
