Musicians Juanes and Fonseca have announced the launch of their first fashion brand, AGYBO, which aims to create social and environmental impact under the genderless concept where “everyone is welcome.”
According to the artists, the foundation of this collection is reconnecting with the planet, “as today we seek the balance of open spaces and nature.”
They added, “All the prints in this new AGYBO collection are full of good vibes with illustrations of plants and stars, reinforcing the premise that we are part of everything.”
Since the inception of this collaboration created by Juanes and Fonseca, the musicians have aimed to be sustainable and contribute to the environment, which is why they chose to partner with a Colombian organization promoting conservation in the Magdalena Medio region.
This means that for every transaction made, one square meter of forest will be contributed to the environmental conservation of this region in Colombia.
Moreover, as part of their social commitment, last month they supported the Trans Community Network by selling t-shirts to help them recover their home.
“We are very excited about this new launch because it is not just another collection. We are betting on different graphic interventions using various techniques like embroidery and screen printing, expanding the concept of exploring our home, and reinforcing the idea of the planet as everyone’s home,” said Martin Fonseca, Juanes’s brother.
Finally, they mentioned that the venture currently has sales and imports in Bogotá, Medellín, and Miami (USA) and hopes to continue growing in the market through new launches and collaborations while continuing to make music and perform concerts.
